Chiswick High Road,
London
Residential | Private Housing
Guy Logan Architects worked closely with the Client to undertake a feasibility study to ascertain how the disused upper floors of a former café on Chiswick High Road could be converted to apartments.
The final scheme contained four spacious north-south facing units with roof terraces and winter gardens. Two of the apartments were dual aspect with amenity roof top spaces for improved natural light, quality design, comfort and passive cooling.
Sustainability measures included air source heap pumps, waste water heat recovery, fabric first approach and extensive cycle provision located on the ground floor.
